Milk thistle helps detoxify the liver by removing toxins. Desmodium and rosemary contribute to normal liver function. It also contains American chrysanthemum. Dr. Pierre Tubéry and his wife introduced desmodium to France in the 1970s, launching numerous scientific research projects into its purifying and draining properties. The properties of desmodium leaves are now recognized, particularly for their contribution to liver function.
Milk thistle (Silybum marianum). This plant, native to the Mediterranean basin, also known as "Saint Mary's Thistle" or "Milky Thistle," is used in herbal medicine because it helps eliminate toxins from the liver.
