Viridian's 100% Organic Omega 3:6:9 Oil is a highly nutritious oil designed for daily use. This vegan-friendly balance of omega 3, omega 6, and omega 9 fatty acids comes from 100% plant-based ingredients in a pleasant-tasting oil.
Omega 3, 6, and 9 are essential fatty acids, meaning the body cannot produce them but must be avoided from diet or supplementation.
This oil combines omega 3 in the form of alpha linolenic acid (ALA), which contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels, with omega 6 gamma linolenic acid (GLA) and a small amount of omega 9. The natural ingredients provide a wide range of nutrients including vitamin E (full spectrum tocopherols and tocotrienols) and carotenoids (alpha-carotene, beta-carotene and lutein). Vitamin E has a role in protecting cells against oxidative stress. This 'oxidative stress' appears to be an important factor in many human diseases.
